Most residents are likely to be aware of construction works that have commenced in a field on the Preston Road, adjacent to the Gawcott Wood Game Farm. The field is actually located within Tingewick Parish but the postal address is Gawcott.

These unauthorised works were reported at 8am on Saturday 26th August 2023 to the Buckinghamshire Council Planning Enforcement Team and both Councillors Patrick Fealey and Robin Stuchbury have been in communication with the Planning Enforcement Team.

Monitoring and communication between Gawcott with Lenborough Parish Council and Buckinghamshire Council was ongoing over the weekend and we have been advised that Buckinghamshire Council Planning issued a Temporary Stop Notice. Enforcement agents have visited the site to assess the situation so that an injunction can be obtained.

A High Court Injunction has been granted, dated 28th August and this prohibits further development or occupation.
